A heart-stopping fantasy adventure novel for junior readers and the young at heart.
Modern Bush Yarn Series

The first three episodes in my Modern Bush Yarn series of school readers for Australia. It was quite a challenge writing modern stories like old-fashioned Aussie bush yarns. Luckily my granddad used to tell yarns all the time. I think the three stories are pretty funny.
Pop Hooper's Perfect Pets Series
When I was growing up, my favourite pet was a dragon. Nobody would annoy me if I had a dragon! It could toast my bread in the morning, and roast marshmallows, too. Unfortunately, I never got a dragon. But in my new series - Pop Hooper's Perfect Pets, kids always get their perfect pet ... in the end. I haven't written a story with a dragon yet, but so far there's a cat, a dog, a turtle and a pony.
Muddletopia
Muddletopia is my first longer story. But I didn't run out of ink writing this one, because I used a computer. The older I get, the more trouble I have remembering things - especially people's names! I haven't forgotten where I live yet, but I sometimes forget where I parked the car. So I think it might be a good idea if everything was clearly labelled - just like Queen Malvina wants in Muddletopia. But I wouldn't want to wear a muddle-free hat - I wouldn't know what to write on it!!
Tracker Jack Series

A long time ago I worked in the Dunedin Environment Centre. We used to organise lots of environmental projects like planting trees and teaching people how to grow organic vegetables. Doing things for the environment is very important. So when I got asked to write some School Readers with environmental themes, I was very excited. The series is called Tracker Jack. Jack is very VERY green. I'd like to live like Jack does, but only if I could have his crazy eco-contraptions! So far I've written 7 Tracker Jack books.
